Yes. We won the World Cup. Congratulations to Team
India and 01:40 plus crore Indians. It was an incredible win, an earned win with lots of efforts, practice, sweat, and blood. I didn't sleep the whole night. It was such an roller coaster match, and our emotions were running up and down like a sine wave. Peaking both sides, whenever we get wickets, it goes up, and whenever they hit for a six, it goes down the peak. I was feeling the heat from Barbados, from Hardik Pandya, Rohisharma, Bumbra, everyone. I was feeling their emotions and the heat on which they were standing. It was not an easy match. It was a crafted match by the universe. We waited for a long, long time. However, we got there. Congratulations again. It was an incredible world cup from start to finish. We learned so many things during the world cup. After this incredible win, I tried to extract learning out of it so that these can be used in our life and career. Let's begin in this exclusive episode on the World Cup win on Let's Talk Clarity with Rakesh. Welcome to the Let's Stop Clarity podcast, and, please subscribe and follow this podcast on whichever platform you are listening to or go to lets talk clarity dot com for starting your own podcast. Yes. We launched our online course on how to start your podcast. So now coming back to today's exclusive episode. Yes, the world cup win. We all were waiting for this win from last eleven years. We reached to semifinal and finals in the last eleven years so many times, but every time there was something or the sum of the opponents and we lost the plot. But yesterday, it was another day. It was another results which we all were waiting from last eleven years. So let's decode yesterday's win of our team India. Yes. Let's decode it and understand what are the top six learning of this incredible win and relive those moments again. Yes. So here comes the first learning, never lose hope. Always stick to work till it is complete. Don't lose hope. You will get there someday. Yes, Thirty balls, thirty runs with ninety six point six percentage winning against your team. Still, Rohit and team member believed they could do it, and eventually, they pulled off. Never lose hope, even if the odds are against you. Never lose hope. After the World Cup final loss in November twenty three at Ahmedabad, it becomes difficult to recollect yourself and the team and then perform on the biggest stage to lift the trophy. The same goes for life and career or any other project. Never lose hope. Whenever you are doing any project or big task, never lose hope till it is completed. You will get support from unknown world as a helping hand or blessing. Yes. Stick to the task and never lose hope till it is over. Second learning, believe in self. Yes. Always believe in your abilities and skills. Success starts from self belief. Bumrah with sixteenth over, balls in his hands, has to believe in his abilities and skills so that he can perform in that crunch situation and execute his plans. Hardik, with seventeenth hour, getting the in form classen has to believe in himself. Akshay Patel came up third down. He has to believe in himself for hitting those four monster sixes. Virat and Akshay took the innings together after three quick wickets. It is this self belief which worked and which was super important. So, for believing in self, we should do the preparation first, then practice, practice, and practice. Yes. This will give you confidence in those crunch situations. In your life and career, start believing in your abilities and skills. First, find out what are your USPs and then start believing in them and continue working on them. Yes. Self belief is the second learning. Learning number three. Yes. Always be calm. Be calm and composed in any situation, any condition, whatever be the circumstances. Be calm and composed. Hardik was calm in that seventeenth hole and, hence, able to execute the first ball wicket of Klaassen. Sky, Surya Kumar Yadav, was so calm and composed that he was able to do the catch of David Miller, which was sure six runs. He was calm and composed, caught it, tossed it up, and came back from outside the boundary to catch it again. This can only be done through a calm and composed mind. So in your career, always be calm. Whenever you are handling a difficult assignment or deadline for an important task, do it with a calm and composed focus. This will ensure you with more productivity and efficient work. Yeah. Let's move on to the fourth learning. Bounce back. Yes. Never stop dreaming and bounce back. Yes. You cannot get everything in life, but whatever you get will be enough. Rovik Sharma and team India lost seven finals and semifinals. Still, they bounced back. Even after their last final loss was just seven months back, and that was big final to lose at Ahmedabad. Still, they regrouped themselves and thought of winning a World Cup in Barbados. So always in life, bounce back. Don't think of your past and bounce back. Let me repeat that you cannot get everything in life, but whatever you get will be enough. Rohit Sharma didn't win ODI World Cup or World Test Championship, but now he has won the t twenty World Cup twice. He got many IPL trophies. He got two sixty four in ODIs. He got double hundreds. Whenever he make a century, we think of double century. So bounce back. Life may have other plans for you. So, in life and career, don't be disheartened by missed promotions or missed projects or missed relationship. Remember, life has better plans for you, and you will bounce back in life, just like the way Rohit Sharma and team India bounced back from previous losses. Learning number five, play like world class. Virat Kohli World class is forever. Even if he was not hundred percent, he was playing at a different position in this world cup. Yes. He was opening. He gathered himself and performed on the big stage. Hitting that six of
Rabada's bowling at 01:40 plus speed is a no joke. You need fifteen years of practice to hit that six down the ground. Virat Kohli was not at his best throughout the tournament. Still, he bagged himself and performed after a quick three wickets. Just like Dhoni did in two thousand eleven ODI final. Best for the last. Yes. So in your life and career, be a world class player. First, choose your game. Choose your game. What is the one thing in which you want to play like Kohli, the world class player. Choose your own game. Yes. Choose your own area of expertise and perform like world class players, like goalie. For me, I want to be colleague for life coaching. I want my podcast to be a world class like colleague. Hence, choose your field of interest and expertise and play like world class colleague. For this, we should keep on practicing our art and craft for years and wait for the right opportunities as t twenty World Cup final. Learning number six, importance of coach. Yes. Rahul Dravid. Dravid was lifted by team India, which gave him a fitting reply. In the two thousand eleven World Cup, Sachin and Gary Kersten were lifted on shoulders. Yesterday, Dravid was lifted by the team. So never be disheartened by life. He was the captain when we lost at the two thousand seven World Cup in Western Indies. We were out in the first round of World Cup with a defeat from Bangladesh. Dravid has never won a World Cup, but now, as a coach, he won the world. So coach has such an important role in cricket and in any sport and in life. Coach is very important. Coach is that one person when no one believes in you, coach will believe in you and extract the best out of you. Even if you are not believing in yourself, a coach can sense your potential and guide you in this path. So in life, always have a coach or mentor who will see you as full of potential and give you guidance and support when needed the most. Always have a coach in life. So these are my six top learnings from yesterday's World Cup win. So let me repeat it again. First one, never lose hope. Yes. Always stick to work till it is complete. Never lose hope. Number second, believe in self, in your abilities and skills. Believe in self. Number three, always be calm. Be calm and composed in any situation. Number four, bounce back. Never stop dreaming. Yes. You cannot get everything in life, but whatever you get will be enough. Number five, play like world class player. Yes. Choose your game and play a world class enemy like Gomi. Number six, importance of coach. So in life, always have a coach or mentor who will see you as a as full of potential and give you support when needed the most. So those were my six learnings from yesterday's team India's t twenty World Cup win. Thank you for listening to Let's Talk Clarity with Rakesh.
